The word rakija is of Arabic origin (al-rak) and means sweat, which best describes the process of making brandy. After a lot of effort, work, attention and desire, we present the best that the fruit has to offer to you – brandy (rakija). The secret quality of our plum brandy is hidden in the fruits from which we make it. We grow plums in our own orchard, where they have our attention all year round. We take care of every detail, we separate the stone and part of the plum skin. The pomace is fermented in controlled conditions and the brandy is distilled in traditional cauldrons. The distillate is aged for three years until it becomes mature enough to be called Grandpa's brandy. The result is a mild selection of plum brandy, with notes of smoke, vanilla, French oak and honey. A tradition that is felt in every sip.

MATCHING AND SERVING

With plum brandy from any variety of plum, we recommend meat. The method of preparation and serving depends on the age and strength of the distillate - the older and stronger the brandy, the "stronger" the meat. Twice distilled plum brandy best matches turkey in Gorgonzola sauce, whereas older brandies are served with red meat : grilled beefsteak, smoked ham or rolled bacon with prunes. Because of its exceptional taste, you can consume Grandpa's brandy both as a digestif and as an aperitif.

We make the selection of first class pears - Viljamovka variety that ripens on the sunny slopes of the Kozara mountain. It has a distinguished fruity scent, soothing tone and warm color. In the production process itself, before fermentation, we separate the solid part of the fruit and produce brandy from the best part of the fruit. Fermentation is carried out under controlled conditions, followed by distillation and aging. It is adorned with a balanced scent and taste of Viljamovka pear, which have been carefully preserved by production technology. As the name suggests - a beauty among brandies.

True gourmands will combine a shot of Viljamovka pear brandy with young neutral cheese or with baked pears stuffed with Edam. Whatever your choice, this beauty will be hard to forget or find somewhat like it.

In our region, apple brandy is not so much appreciated - we would say quite undeservedly. Because of such beliefs, our palate was deprived of true richness of its taste. That is why we set ourselves the goal of returning it to the league of "big" players. We achieved that with our brandy "QM", produced from first class Idared apples. Our trump card is the apples grown in the sun, in almost untouched nature without any chemical processing or additives. In each sip you will feel the warm notes of apple, wood and honey. As tradition dictates, presently our QM has a place of honor of real hosts.

MATCHING AND SERVING

We would like to recommend a combination of QM apple brandy with unsalted young cheese, served with baked apples. Also, we have tried matching it with a mild vanilla tart and have not regretted it. Try our apple brandy and you will find a new faithful companion, because as it is usually said in our country: "You can always rely on your godfather".

According to the original recipe of our grandmothers, we produced a liqueur based on the maraschino cherry and apple varieties. Through a special ripening process, a unique product has been created that has a completely appropriate dose of sweetness and a full-bodied experience.
