Welcome to our house of good tastes, quality distillates, little secrets and big ambitions. Thanks to great ambition and desire, we have become what we are today - one of the most recognizable producers of brandy, gin and liqueur that can be offered to every dear guest with honor and pride.

HISTORY

Our story began in 2016 when we founded the company Agrodestil with the ambition to combine the best things we have: home-grown fruit from the slopes of the Kozara mountain, traditional ways of brandy distillation and recipes for which our region is famous. What stands out is our orchard, where we grow 78,000 plum trees and 18,000 Viljamovka pear trees on the area of ​​over 100 hectares. We are guided by the idea that proven good recipes should not be improved, so we make our brandies according to the traditional recipes of our grandfathers without artificial flavors, flavor enhancers and chemicals. Our secret is complete dedication and care for the fruit itself throughout the year, because that attention is later reflected in the fullness and uniqueness of the aromas of our brandies. We do not comply with less than perfect. Try it and see for yourself.

TECHNOLOGY

The process of making brandy takes place in four stages: the first stage is harvesting and preparing the fruit for fermentation. For our brandies we choose only the best of the fruits from our orchard. The fruit harvest is carefully planned and adjusted to the time of ripening. In our laboratory, we examine the dry matter content (sweetness), pH value and total acidity. Only the best fruit becomes part of our brandies. The second stage is the alcoholic fermentation of the pomace. The fermentation process is strictly controlled, with monitoring of the smell and appearance of the residues, regular mixing and maintaining the optimal temperature of the pomace. When the fruit is ready, perhaps the most sensitive stage follows – brandy distillation in copper cauldrons. The science of "brandy distillation" implies strict and precise control of the intensity of heating, the temperature of the distillate at the outlet of the condenser and the intensity of distillation. We continue to distill the obtained "soft brandy", to the strength and taste by which we are recognizable. The last fourth stage is simply ageing - maturation of brandy. We use oak barrels and give the brandies enough time to mature. Subsequently, we approach the final testing of strength, smell and taste, followed by packaging and branding. And of course, a judgment that is so much more than science - the tasting itself.

PRIZES AND AWARDS

The quality of our brandies and liqueurs has been recognized by experts, as evidenced by the many awards and plaques we have been awarded.
We are proud of the Great Gold Medals for Grandpa's brandy, QM apple brandy and Krajina beauty from 2017 and 2018, which we received from the Municipality of Laktaši.
We were awarded a gold medal by the Economic Interest Association of Croatian Beverage Producers
in 2017 and 2018 for brandy and cherry liqueur.
